How do I apply to the BSW program?
Submit an application to ASU undergraduate admissions. Applications can be picked up at our Tucson office or complete the interactive on-line application at http://www.asu.edu/admissions/
Also send official transcripts from all other schools attended to: ASU Undergraduate Admissions, P.O. Box 870112, Tempe, AZ 85287-0112. (Please see question on immunization)
If I'm attending a community college what courses can I take that transfer to the social work program?
Meet with your academic advisor from the community college and from the School of Social Work to discuss appropriate transfer courses. For a list of courses that will transfer under your catalog year, review the transfer guide at the following web site: http://www.asu.edu/provost/articulation/

Do I need to complete an associates degree before I apply to the BSW program?
No. It is not necessary to have completed an associates degree to apply to the BSW program.
When can I begin taking courses for the BSW degree?
The Tucson component admits students for the BSW program each fall semester. The recommended time to apply is early spring. (January - March). All applicants should plan to complete the required 200 level Social Work courses (available at Pima Community College) prior to their Fall enrollment at ASU.
Can I take all my courses in Tucson for the BSW program or do I have to commute to the Downtown Phoenix Campus?
All BSW required courses are offered at the Tucson Component and therefore, students do not need to commute to the Downtown Phoenix Campus.
