Job Description:  SAVAHCS is comprised of a 283-bed teaching hospital located on 116 acres in Tucson, Arizona.  This Social worker position is located within the Mental Health Care Line and serves in the corrdinatin and case management for veterans deemed at an increased risk for suicide.  Provides comprehensive, coordinated, integrated care to maximize health outcomes and decrease morbidity due to suicides.  Major duties include identifying veterans at risk for suicide , tracking appointments, case management, clinical services, crisis intervention via the national suicide hotline, and coordinating enhanced care as needed. Rate of Pay: 54,494.00 - 70,843.00 Year, DOE.

Key Requirements:

• Must pass a pre-employment physical examination.

• Must have U.S. Citizenship

• Background and/or Security Investigation required.

• Licensure, Certification. or Registration required.
